Great memories! My dad used to tie a rope to the top of the slide. I would climb up and slide down all day long. I’m not sure why I didn’t just use the stairs? That was 25ish years ago!
Glad everyone likes this. My elementary school had a slide like this, too, but eventually the school removed it in place of the newfangled plastic playground equipment.

There is a slide just like that in Swanton, VT just inside my in-laws’ development.
