I just located the name of the historic house saved in the city of Kingston NY. It is called the Nathaniel Booth House. The construction is of small pieces of granite from a local quary. The owners wanted it torn down because it was falling into the street. The City and a historic preservation group saved the house and stabilized it. You might be able to see it by googling the city of Kingston Nathaniel Booth house or trying to see it through the Daily Freeman online. I think this would interest you, it is a unique house.
