Looks like it is all ready to go for another coat (technically two or three) of plaster. Of course, it is getting rare to see anyone do a full scale plastering of a room unless they are very avid (dare I say rabid) historic preservationists or they have replacement level coverage on their home insurance. Both of those things were the reasons for the last plastering a friend and I did on a neighbor’s house a couple of years ago. I learned that ordering horsehair online is fraught with peril since everyone wants to send you curly nonsense used for stuffing (even when the description says otherwise). We ended up just going to the store and buying some horsehair brushes.
