wow! right now there is a very old stone house in Kingston NY that is the center of a controversy(SP?). It is called the Nathaniel Booth house and it is in bad condition but could be saved. the owners want it torn down. The mayor and historic preservation does not want it torn down, they want it fixed. I hope they win.
