Happy Monday, everyone. How was your weekend? Mine involved a lot of coffee, running, and sleeping. In other words, it was good. What do you have in store for this week? While most everyone says summer ends on Labor Day, there are actually a few weeks after that left of summer. Take heart, summer is still here! Here are a few links to get you started for the week.

    Grant Romer, world-renowned photography authority and former Director of Conservation for the International Museum of Photography at the George Eastman House in Rochester, New York. This is from a lecture on daguerreotype at the High Museum in Atlanta. He is a wonderful lecturer. This hints at the types of public lectures that were the primary form of entertainment for people in the 1800s–before radio, TV, etc.
