This scenario raises an interesting question wrt protocol or obligations…..You may own the property you live in, and have the right to do with it as you please, but there’s a question about being part of something else as well. Its especially true of historical streetscapes. Personally, I hate the white in this particular example.
Where I live there are a large number of Victorian duplexes, and some of them couldn’t be further apart in colour, state of preservation, renovation work, etc…. The juxtapositions are often laughable.
