The Cavendish Universalist Church constructed in 1844 is a beautiful structure, impressively intact. It’s worth a look through the windows. Now if only we could move those utility wires.

    This church is in remarkable condition. It is owned by the Cavendish Historical Society and they are working with the Solzenitzen family on a museum. The interior paint is original—one layer. The steeple needs some roof and trim work. What to do with some of the pews is a question…
