Neat picture. We’ve been watching “Lilyhammer,” which is set in Norway. Almost all the farmhouses and many residences shown in it have that vertically-aligned siding. We’ve seen it in the U.S., mostly in New England, I think. We wonder whether the origin of the style is indeed Scandanavian, and if there’s a particular reason for it?
