Kaitlyn, Can you contact me asap about your VT Barn Census windshield survey of Townshend, VT. I’m interested in filling out the details about our local barns –details that you may have collected already but that are not available on-line at the Barn Census site. We do not want to duplicate your efforts. At present, we have a high school student who is all set to go out and collect information as part of a school project–or has it already been done? Did you by any chance KEEP your Barn Census WORKSHEETS? Could we possibly get copies?
Let’s learn about our barns and learn to love them. Remember: Knowledge is power and knowledge can save our barns –even if it’s only a photo that records what was once there.
I’ve seen your “Discussion of Agriculture in Townshend, VT” –great paper! Also some of your photos –the ones that are accessible anyway.
With gratitude for all that you have done for our barns,
Heidi Clawson, Townshend Historical Society (friend of Robert DuGrenier)
